Eastern States Exposition (ESE) provides year-round opportunities for the development and promotion of agriculture, education, industry and family entertainment while preserving our New England heritage. It is best known for its annual fair, The Big E, which is one of the largest fairs in North America. However, the Fair is one of more than 100 events that ESE produces each year.
In accordance with its mission, ESE takes pride in giving to the community. Annually, 1% of gross operations is donated back to the town of West Springfield. This is because, as a not-for-profit, ESE cannot receive funding from federal, state, or local taxes, which sets it apart from most fairs. To give thanks to the populace that has supported our mission most faithfully, ESE partnered with West Springfield to create the "Eastern States Exposition Trust Fund."
In 2019 alone, ESE contributed more than $1.5 million to the town and the Fund, a figure that has increased annually for nearly three decades.

Thank you for your support, which makes this possible. We warmly welcome you to visit us in the coming year.
