Department Changes & Improvements

Entry limits have been removed from most departments! Limits still apply to departments 15, 21, 23, 63, and 66. Displaying of entries is not guaranteed due to space limitations. Please refer to the General Rules regarding entries for display during the fair.

Diamond Art is now its own department and is open to adults!

Department 20: Photography divisions have been improved and clarified

Department 14: Pottery and Ceramics have been revised and has been moved to pre-fair judging. Please refer to the department listing for the comprehensive update.

Department 17: Woodworking has combined Scroll Saw and Woodturning into one department and has been moved to pre-fair judging. Please refer to the department listing for the comprehensive update.

Become An Award Donor

Interested in donating an award? Exhibitors of all skill levels are recognized at our fair, and their talents are recognized by donors who grant special awards to exhibitors that fulfill certain criteria. Donors choose to recognize excellence in criteria of their choice, such as the execution of certain techniques or reward youth exhibitors that show advanced skills, and the awards vary from cash awards to gifts of materials related to the craft.

Each donor is listed in our catalog and is featured in the Creative Arts Facebook posts.

Entry Pick Up Days

Entries not accepted for display will be contacted by email and must be picked up in the New England Center on the following dates:

September 6-7, 9 am-5 pm

All entries accepted for display must be picked up in the New England Center on the following dates:

Monday, September 29, 12 pm -7 pm

Tuesday, September 30, 8 am-1 pm

Please enter the Eastern States Exposition grounds through Gate 1 (1761 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA).
November 1 - All unclaimed items become the property of Eastern States Exposition and will be disposed of as deemed necessary.
