Eastern States Exposition is expanding transportation options for fairgoers through a new partnership with the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA), throughout all 17 days of The Fair. PVTA will provide free shuttle service to and from the Fair, offering guests an alternative to driving and accessible public transportation.

Throughout the run of The Big E, the PVTA will offer a shuttle service circulating between Springfield’s Union Station, 55 Frank B Murray Street in Springfield, Mass., and Gate 1 of The Big E fairgrounds on Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, Mass., serving downtown garages to allow fairgoers to park downtown and ride to the Fair via PVTA Bus –The Big E Express, or board the shuttle following a train ride, bus ride or walk to Springfield’s Union Station.

The Big E Express shuttle will begin September 18, Opening Day of The Big E, and continue running daily through October 4, the final day of the Fair. The shuttle offers extended hours, operating Monday through Thursday from 12:30pm-9pm and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-10pm. The Big E Express shuttle is made possible by ESE.
