To provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for all, Eastern States Exposition, producer of The Big E, prohibits certain items on the fairgrounds. All guests are subject to search upon entry and weapons detection devices are in use at every gate. Prohibited items will be confiscated or may result in denied entry or removal from the grounds.

Prohibited Items Include:

• Weapons of any kind, including knives over 1.5”
• Mace or pepper spray
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, sparklers
• Sticks, bats, poles, slingshots, spears, machetes, blades
• Stun guns, handcuffs or flex cuffs
• Drones, kites, inflatables, balloons, rubber band guns or projectile devices
• Toys that replicate actual guns
• Laser pointers, noise makers
• Alcohol, contraband, illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia (including any form of marijuana)
• Cans or glass bottles; aerosol cans (except spray sunscreen)
• Skateboards, bicycles, in-line skates, hoverboards
• Lawn chairs, stadium seats
• Pets
• Other items as determined by ESE management

Important Note:
ESE reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest in possession of prohibited items. Admission is a revocable license and no refunds will be issued for violations of this policy.
