PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY

The Big Parade is one of the most prominent attractions at the Fair. The contingent of marching bands, antique vehicles and authentic Mardi Gras floats pass by thousands of onlookers who line the route, daily.

Interested parties that fall under the following categories can apply to be considered for the parade:

• Marching Band with Color Guard, Drill Team and/or Cheerleading
• Color Guard
• Classic, Custom or Collector Vehicle
• Specialty Float
• Costumed Character
• Performance Group

Individual members or contingents from nonprofit organizations that do not fall into any of the above categories can apply to be considered for a showcase opportunity on the ESE Trolley under Participant Info.

Due to high interest in specific dates, applicants accepted to participate may not receive first choice date. Applicants must select no less than three (3) date options. Applicants that select only a single date are less likely to be considered. Applicants who select Saturdays or Sundays are more likely to be accepted.

Please note the following:

• The Big Parade takes place at 6pm, daily.
• The parade route is approximately one (1) mile.
• Participants must arrive and report to staging area one (1) hour prior to parade start.
• Participants must follow The Big Parade Standards & Regulations (subject to change at any point).
• The Big Parade is not a platform for political campaigning.
• No call, no shows will not be invited to participate in future years. No exceptions.

Submitting this application is the only way to apply and does not guarantee automatic selection for The Big Parade. Prospective participants must adhere to the application process and deadline. Late requests will not be accepted. Participant selection is at the discretion of Eastern States Exposition. Regrets may not be sent.
