REFUND, RESALE & UNAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS POLICY
All publicly sold tickets are for use by the original authorized purchaser and their invited guest(s) only (all referred to as Participants). Tickets are not transferable by the purchaser, invited guests, or any other person.

Tickets are revocable. Unlawful sale or attempted sale subjects ticket to revocation without refund. Tickets may not be sold, transferred, or used for any form of commercial or trade purposes. Do not make copies of the ticket; duplicates will be rejected. Resale or attempted resale of tickets is grounds for cancellation of the ticket. As such, tickets obtained from unauthorized third party sources may be invalid, lost, stolen or counterfeit and so are void. Any tickets used in violation of this policy shall be deemed revoked and void, and their bearers deemed trespassers at Eastern States Exposition (ESE).

No refunds will be issued unless the Mardi Gras Reveler Experience is cancelled by ESE. ESE may, without refund, revoke this ticket and refuse admission for non-compliance with the terms detailed in the Mardi Gras Terms & Conditions or for disorderly conduct. Participant voluntarily assume all risks whether occurring prior to, during and after this event.

AUTHORIZATION OF PARTICIPANT’S IMAGE AND LIKENESS
Participant grants permission to be photographed and videotaped at any time during the Mardi Gras Reveler Experience at The Big E. Participant grants ESE and its designees the right to use Participant’s image, likeness, actions and statement. Participant acknowledges and permits any such photograph, interview, filming, streaming and broadcasting of audio and/or video can be used by ESE for any purpose, including commercial or promotional, trade and any other lawful purposes.

INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS
The Participant recognizes and understands that there are risks associated with participation in the Mardi Gras Reveler Experience ("Activity") including, but not limited to, bodily injury or death to persons and damage to property. The Participant further acknowledges and understands that he/she will be held liable and responsible for any and all damage to persons, livestock, vehicles, property and/or improvements to property that is caused by him/her and/or any persons (including, but not limited to, minors and/or the Participant) under his/her care and control, and that arise out of, or are related to, the Participant's entry into and participation in the Activity.

The Participant hereby RELEASES, ACQUITS AND FOREVER DISCHARGES AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS Eastern States Exposition – their present and former directors, officers, employees, agents, members, volunteers, representatives, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, insurers, lessors of premises used to conduct The Big E and all of its related activities and the respective heirs, administrators, executors, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties” or individually, a “Released Party”) from any and all claims, causes of action, suits, costs of defense or settlement and/or demands for personal injury, death or property damage, accrued or to accrue in the future, known or unknown, (collectively, “Claims”) relating to or arising out of any negligent, grossly negligent and/or intentional or unintentional acts on the part of the Participant in connection with the Participant’s entry into and participation in the Activity. Without limiting the foregoing, the Participant agrees that the Released Parties shall not be liable to the Participant, his/her family, heirs, administrators, executors or assigns for Claims arising from or related to the Participant’s entry into and participation in the Activity.

The Participant agrees to DEFEND, INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES AGAINST THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE RELEASED PARTIES’ OWN NEGLIGENCE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH NEGLIGENCE WAS THE SOLE, PROXIMATE OR PRODUCING CAUSE OF THE CLAIMS; provided, however, that the duty of the Participant to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties shall extend only to Claims arising directly or indirectly from the Participant’s entry into and participation in the Activity.

GENERAL PARTICIPATION
By purchasing tickets, Participant agrees to all the rules and regulations outlined in the FAQ on behalf of Participant and invited guest(s). Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the float without refund.

• All individuals are required to read and sign the Mardi Gras Reveler Experience Participation Agreement and insurance waiver prior to boarding the floats. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the respective documents. Documents will be emailed to the original authorized purchaser to sign in advance. Individuals will also be able to sign the documents during check in. ESE reserves the right to require photo ID for entry.
• No one under the age of 18 is allowed on the floats without adult supervision. One adult is required per three minors. The adult supervisor must be on the same side of the float as the minors they are accompanying.
• All individuals must be over 48” tall to ride on the floats. No exceptions. Anyone who is under 48" at check in will not be permitted on the float and will not receive a refund.
• Food and drinks are not permitted on the floats. Any individual appearing to be intoxicated will be denied access to the floats. No exceptions.
• Bags 6" x 8" in size, with or without a handle or strap, can be taken onto the Mardi Gras float. No other bags are permitted. Space is extremely limited on the Mardi Gras floats and a secure storage area is not be provided. We strongly recommend bringing any bags back to your vehicle prior to boarding. ESE is not responsible for any missing or lost items.
• Participants are required to wear costumes provided by ESE. The costumes are a colorful smock that goes over your clothes. No face coverings are permitted for security purposes.
• The Big Parade will more than likely not operate if it is raining at the start time. Ticket purchasers will be notified one (1) hour prior to start time if the parade is cancelled. Notifications will be received via the email address used to purchase the tickets. Full refunds will be issued.
• ESE reserves the right to remove anyone from the float at any time. If you don't follow the rules, you will be immediately removed from the float without refund.
• Participant is permitted to take a maximum of 10 beads from the float. ESE reserves the right to search Participant bags during the deboarding process.

ENROUTE POLICY
If Participants do not behave appropriately and follow the enroute policies detailed below, Participant will be immediately removed from the float without refund. Please note that irresponsible actions while onboard the floats can cause serious issues, including injury to The Big Parade attendees.

• Gently toss beads
• Only toss one (1) bead at a time
• Do not toss beads until the floats reach the front right corner of the New Hampshire Building
• Stop tossing beads when the floats reach the Moses Building or when instructed to do so by The Big Parade personnel
• Do not throw beads when the floats are not in motion
• Only toss beads to people along the parade route
• Do not toss beads when there is not an audience
• Do not drop beads off the side of the float—toss them as far from the side of the float as possible
• Do not whip beads into the crowd
• Do not whip beads at animals
• Do not throw beads into concession stands, outdoor exhibits, trees, onto roofs, etc.
