Big Eats Food Competition Application

Submit your entries to participate in this year's Big Eats food competition! The competition recognizes the incredible food offered at the Fair and the talented folks behind the counter.

You may enter food items in multiple categories, but, if chosen, the entry will be selected as a finalist in one of the following categories - Best Tasting, Most Creative or New Food.

All finalists will be entered into the online Fairgoer Favorite category. If you are entering more than one food item, separate applications are required for each food item and items cannot be in the same categories.

Defend your crown! Previous winning entries from Best Tasting, Most Creative and Fairgoer Favorite categories are encouraged to re-enter this year's competition.

Upload photos of your masterpiece in the fields below. Please provide us with the best quality photos possible - 200 dpi preferred. If selected as a finalist, these photos will be featured on TheBigE.com and the Facebook contest page for the Fairgoer Favorite award. The finalist entries will be photographed by a Big E photographer.

Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your food?

Judging for 2018 Big Eats food competition will take place Wednesday, Sept. 19, and awards will be distributed Thursday, Sept. 20. The winners of each category will be selected by a panel of local celebrity judges.

Voting for the online Fairgoer Favorite takes place on The Big E Facebook page, Sept. 14 - 29. The top vote-getting entry will be declared the winner and award will be distributed on Sunday, Sept. 30.
