Be A Fan
One of Western Massachusetts' best kept secrets that has been diligent in his songwriting for the last 20 years. In the beginning, 15 year-old YRBK (Yearbook) started off writing songs with close friend and bandmate Masetti under the group name "Project Fatalist" and quickly took off locally in high school after doing a talent show sophomore year and dropping their first full length album "Live, Love, Life". Over the years, the passion for music never left YRBK and that passion is the reason he's still here today. Making music started off as a joke but after delving into more personal topics around the age of 16, that's where the therapy through music took his creativity to a whole new level. He changed his name to "YRBK" in 2019 in hopes to rebrand and give new life to what he was doing with his music. The idea with "Yearbook" is linear to a physical yearbook, looking back on what your life has been or used to be and feeling all the emotions of those memories whilst looking at it from a more mature perspective and accepting all of it instead of being embarrassed by it. After all the traumatic and fleeting moments throughout his life, he's able to write about them with a heavy, yet clear perspective in hopes that others can process their own experiences in a healthy way as well.
