A fan-favorite tradition since 1996, The Big E’s Butter Sculpture turns over 600 pounds of Cabot Creamery butter into a larger-than-life work of art, crafted live during the Fair by food sculptors Jim Victor and Marie Pelton. Created inside a walk-in cooler beneath the Mallary Rotunda, this annual masterpiece showcases a new whimsical or iconic theme each year, all sculpted entirely from butter.
