Creative Arts at The Big E

Baking and Prepared Food Receiving Day

All Baked and Freshly Prepared food entries will be received in the New England Center on the following dates:

September 8th: 4 - 7 pm

September 9th: 9 - 11 am

Please enter the Eastern States Exposition grounds through Gate 1 (1761 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA).

The gate attendant can help with directions to the New England Center. Once past the gate attendant booth, please turn left through the fence and proceed straight until the New England Center is on your right.

When you submit your fiber art & canning, please attach a printable Entry ID label to the lower RIGHT corner on the back of your entry or to the bottom of the can so that your name is NOT visible. If you have not printed out an entry tag yet, please follow the link below and fill out all fields. An entry tag is required for EACH individual entry.

Entry Pick Up Days

All entries accepted for display must be picked up in the New England Center on the following dates:

Monday, September 29, 12 pm -7 pm

Tuesday, September 30, 8 am-1 pm

November 1 - All unclaimed items become the property of Eastern States Exposition and will be disposed of as deemed necessary.

Exhibitors of all skill levels are recognized at our fair, and their talents are recognized by donors who grant special awards to exhibitors that fulfill certain criteria. Donors choose to recognize excellence in criteria of their choice, such as the execution of certain techniques or reward youth exhibitors that show advanced skills, and the awards vary from cash awards to gifts of materials related to the craft.

Each donor is listed in our catalog and is featured in the Creative Arts Facebook posts.
