Fred Luchsinger, Silver Spring Farm, Syracuse, New York. Fred Luchsinger and his Silver Spring Farm Jerseys were a dominating herd at the Eastern States Exposition from 1974 through 1999. His homebred herd won Grand Champion Cow several times during that span. Also, Silver Spring was awarded Premier Breeder 22 times, and Premier Exhibitor almost as many. Fred was highly respected by other exhibitors for his honorable personality and gracious treatment of young exhibitors. He was extremely proud to be inducted into the prestigious ESE Hall of Fame.
