Leon Andre Perry, Newport, Vermont. Born in Brownington, Vermont. Leon was a longtime farmer on the Stone House Farm in Brownington. He was a lifetime lover of animals big and small, including nationally recognized Ayrshire and Guernsey cows which earned him recognition in the Hall of Fame at the Eastern States Exposition. From his champion bull of merit, "Noble Boss" to his varied breeds of show chickens and registered collies, he very much enjoyed showing and judging livestock.
