The Big E is back, and it’s bringing new additions to the party. The largest fair in the Northeast is planning activities that will make for an exciting trip each day, so make sure to check out all the new features The Big E has to offer this year!

Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition
Young Building daily, sponsored by Uncommon USA
This year, our premier exhibit recreates one of the world’s greatest artistic achievements, Michelangelo’s renowned ceiling frescoes from the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, reproduced photographically and artfully displayed. The highlights of the frescoes are presented in their original size. This innovative interpretation of the timeless masterpieces can be viewed up close, including The Creation of Adam. It has previously made stops in Montreal, Vienna, Shanghai, Dallas, Munich and New York.

Eastern States Exposition: A Walk through History
Hampden County Building daily 10am-10pm
The Hampden County Building auditorium has been revamped to house the history of Eastern States Exposition. The permanent exhibit will tell the story of the largest event on the East Coast through photography, memorabilia, artifacts and historic items from the Exposition’s archives, including trophies and ribbons, pennants, posters and more. See letters from former U.S. presidents, a replica of the famed Skyride, Storrowton Village on a small scale, Brooks’ family possessions donated by the late Grace Brooks Knibb, granddaughter of Exposition founder, Joshua L. Brooks, and much more.

Camel Kingdom

Avenue ShowPlace daily at 12, 2:30, and 7pm, sponsored by Westfield Bank

This one-of-a-kind, entertaining and educational exhibit featuring the dromedary camel, is turning The Big E’s Avenue ShowPlace into a desert oasis this fall. The stars of Camel Kingdom are a rare breed of dromedary with blue eyes and a spotted coat. Including the herd at The Big E, there are less than 1,000 of these creatures in existence. During this unique presentation, fairgoers will get to know these domestic animals and learn about their daily care routine.

Mallary Rotunda daily at 11:30am, 2:30 & 5:30pm, sponsored by Good Health Sauna

Dianne’s show will get your family motivated to come back to the kitchen and start cooking again. Stick around after the show for taste testing.
