American Christian artist Zach Williams, with special guest Cory Asbury of Bethel Music, will perform Sept. 19, 2021, at The Big E Arena, sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer. Tickets are priced at $39 and $29 and go on sale Friday, July 2 at 10am at TheBigE.com and The Big E Box Office. Tickets include Big E admission when purchased before the show date. Asbury will open the show at 7:30pm.
Zach’s music pulls from the hard luck truths of Outlaw Country, the dirt-road grit of Southern Rock, the contemporary roots music of Alt-Country artists, and a firm grounding in Classic and Contemporary Christian artists that stretches back to his dad’s old vinyl records from the group, Petra.
The Jonesboro, Arkansas-raised and current Nashville, Tennessee-based artist is a renewed man. He’s a husband, a father, and has also become one of CCM’s leading artists and songwriters by carving a niche with his singular blend of Southern Rock, Country, and faith-filled songwriting, which quickly awarded him his first GRAMMY Award® for his debut album, 2017’s “Chain Breaker.”
With two additional GRAMMY nods among numerous other accolades, he now returns to share his boldly vulnerable and hope-filled sophomore album, aptly titled “Rescue Story.” Released in October, 2019, it includes the tracks “Rescue Story” and “There was Jesus” which he recorded with Dolly Parton.
Cory is known for his hit single “Reckless Love.” The song was nominated for a GRAMMY in 2019 after winning two GMA Dove Awards and two K-Love Fan Awards in 2018. His album by the same name hit the top of the charts as Billboard’s #1 Christian Album and won a GMA Dove Award for Worship Album of the Year in 2018. Cory has also received three Billboard Music nominations for Top Christian Artist, Top Christian Album and Top Christian Song of the year.
