This week-long program takes boys and girls, ages 7-12, on an exciting journey into New England's bygone days where they will experience challenging and fun hands-on activites, and a variety of 19th century games and craft projects


Some activities include fireplace cooking, blacksmithing, butter and cheese making, basket weaving, herbal lore, hoop and sack races

Storrowton Village Museum is an authentic, recreated village of nine 18th and 19th century buildings from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, assembled around a traditional town green


We offer living history programs and events

to acquaint audiences of all ages to

New England life in bygone days


Storrowton Village is open for drop-in tours

Tuesday - Saturday from 11am to 3pm,

mid-June thru the end of August; all other

times of the year is by appointment only

Storrowton is looking for individuals,

ages 14 and up, to join us as costumed guides in our recreated Early American village during The Big E



This is a great time to discover the rich heritage of New England and share a glimpse into its past with fair visitors





If you can provide us with your time,

we'll supply you with everything you

will need to participate in this

exciting opportunity - including training, costuming and admission



Potential volunteers must be available to attend three 2-hour training sessions (offered in both afternoon and evening)
