Village Wine Tastings

DAILY WINE TASTING AT STORROWTON VILLAGE GIFT SHOP
The Big E is offering Wine Tastings at the Storrowton Village Gift Shop. Tastings are scheduled for 2, 4 and 6 p.m. daily throughout the Fair.
For a $7.50 tasting fee, Big E guests will have the opportunity to sample a "flight" (four small cups) of four different wines. A different vineyard will be featured each day including Concha Toro of Chile, Berringer in California and Stonehaven of Australia.
According to Dennis Picard, director of Storrowton Village Museum, "Last year's inaugural program was so successful; we decided to continue giving our visitors the opportunity experience different wines without having to invest in a full bottle. We also increased the samples in a "flight" from three to four. This is a great chance for fairgoers and wine lovers to be introduced to wines from many of the smaller vineyards in addition to some from the more well known vintners."
The experienced connoisseur or the uninitiated are sure to find one or more wines to delight their palate.
