THE BIG E OFFERS SUNDAY RELIGIOUS SERVICES FOR FAIRGOERS

 Fairgoers won't have to miss  church on Sunday to get an early start on their day at the Fair.  Eastern States Exposition will be offering the opportunity to attend Catholic Mass at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. each Sunday during the 2008 Big E.

 The Bishop's Mass, celebrated by the Most Reverend Timothy McDonnell, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, will be held on the Storrowton Village Green at 10 a.m. on September 21.

 The Big E Super Circus tent will be the site of 10 a.m. Mass on September 28. The celebrant will be Monsignor Christopher Connelly of the Diocese of Springfield.

 Guests of The Big E can also attend services at the Storrowton Village Meetinghouse at 8 a.m. on September 21 and 28.  Fr. Kenneth Tatro or Fr. Wayne Biernat of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield will celebrate the Masses.

 The Big E gratefully acknowledges and thanks all the celebrants and Brother Terrence Scanlon of the Chalice of Salvation for his assistance and direction in making these services possible.

 A non-denominational service will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the Storrowton Village Meetinghouse on September 28 courtesy of the Alden  Baptist  Church in Springfield.
