THE GREEN MOUNTAIN STATE AT THE BIG E'S AVENUE OF STATES
The Avenue of States, showcasing the best of each New England state, is one of the most popular attractions at The Big E in West Springfield, Mass. The Vermont Building sits along the broad avenue offering fairgoers a unique opportunity to tour its finest destinations, sample some mouth-watering foods and shop for Vermont made crafts and native goods.
Vermont Day is Saturday, September 26, when the Green Mountain State puts its best foot forward for fairgoers from throughout New England. From the finest Vermont products and foods to musical performances, there will be something for everyone at the Fair. Performances include the Brattleboro American Legion Band playing all-American favorites; Rick & the Ramblers, Burlington, with western Swing music; and Atlantic Crossing, Ripton, featuring traditional music from New England, Canada and the British Isles. Vermont marching bands and contingents will perform in The Big E Daily Parade at 5 p.m.
