What: Grand Opening of the new Museum of Springfield History

See the famous collection of the former Indian Motocycle Museum at the Grand Opening of the new Museum of Springfield History! Located in Springfield, Mass., hometown of "the Wigwam" where the original Indians were built, the museum displays more than 35 vintage Indian Motocycles, Indian manuals, tools and memorabilia, historic photographs and more. The museum also includes antique automobiles manufactured in Springfield, including the American Rolls-Royce, an original copy of the 1893 Duryea, an 1899 Knox, and a rare Indian car. Additional exhibits feature a 1937 Gee Bee aircraft and memorabilia, Milton Bradley games, a horse-drawn fire pumper, antique bicycles, Smith & Wesson firearms, and many other inventions and products from the city's industrial past.
