Children's Games
It’s nineteenth century recess!
Join the fun every day at noon on the
Village Green for Early American Children’s Games.

Try your hand at rolling a
wooden hoop as you race
down the length of the
Village Green competing with other participants. Everyone who
finishes wins a blue ribbon as a lasting reminder of your day.
But, wait… don’t leave too soon, because once we’re done with
hoops, it time to jump into the sack – the grain sack that is –
and jump/hop your way down the green once more for another
ribbon and bragging rights amongst your friends.
Open to all ages: you’re never too old! Moms and dads, aunts, uncles, big brother and
sister can all join and – and don’t forget your teachers too!
Every day at noon, weather permitting.
