Parent and Child Cookie Contest

Guidelines

• Children must be between 6 and 16 years of age.
•  A parent is limited to two entries and a child to one entry.  (For example, a parent may enter the contest with two different children).  A parent is defined as the mother, father, grandparent, legal guardian or step-parent of the child.
• Create your own recipe or use a family favorite.
• No embellishments on cookies (ie frosting, toppings, decorations)
• Bring 6 cookies on a 9” disposable plate.  
• All entries must be accompanied by the Domino Sugar UPC code and the recipe neatly printed on an 8 ½ X 11 sheet of paper.  Staple the Domino Sugar UPC code to the recipe.  Entrants’ names should be on the back of the recipe.  Site source of recipe or note that the recipe is an original. (If the recipe is written on both back and front a separate sheet should be attached with names of entrants).
• All registration forms must be submitted to Eastern States Exposition by August 1 2011 with a $5 entry fee.  Late registrations will be $10 and will be taken depending on availability of space until September 1.
• Management reserves the right to limit space; registration will be taken as received. 
• All recipes become the property of Eastern States Exposition and Domino Sugar and may be edited, adapted, copyrighted, published and used for publicity, promotion and/or advertising at their discretion without compensation to the contestant.
• All winners must sign a Domino Sugar recipe release form. 
• All exhibits remain the property of Eastern States Exposition. 
• All exhibitors should plan to remain with their entry during judging.
