There are As Seen on TV products, massage chairs and weather vanes in the Better Living Center; pools, portable garages and wooden swing sets in Outdoor Exhibits; pottery, stained glass and beautiful jewelry at Craft Common, and this is still just the beginning! You also have to check out the Young Building, Storrowton Village Gift Shop and the Yankee Candle Shop for more unique and exciting products.

The Big E isn’t only about spinning on the Midway and eating unique foods…There’s all the shopping you can imagine as well, from crafts and trinkets to products from across the globe. There are enough retail options to keep you busy for the entire day!

The Better Living Center - Also known as “shopping central,” the Better Living Center offers a wide variety of products, such as jewelry, cosmetics, items for your home and pet, and even a kitchen remodel. So if you’re looking for steam showers, ceramic clocks, golf apparel, rice jewelry or almost anything else, this is the place to be.

Outdoor Exhibits - The crisp fall air is the perfect setting to shop for some larger outdoor items for your home, such as sunrooms, sheds, spas, and wood & pellet stoves. There are plenty of other things for sale outside too, including children’s toys, necklaces and sheepskin products. Pick up a designer watch and see

  the kids mine for fossils, gemstones and arrowheads.

  Crafts - Dotting Hampden Avenue and filling the Carriage House  

  and  Craft Common, you’ll find artisans and their creations from 

  across the country. Jewelry, handbags, sweaters, dolls, hats and  

  hand made items are some must-haves.  

  The Young Building - The Big E has influences from all around the

  world, which is especially evident in the Young Building.  For some  

  flair from any country from Cambodia to Russia, take a break from

  the sun and find some handmade leather boots from Ecuador, beaded and embroidered products from India, Chinese pottery, and a variety of gifts from Thailand. The Irish Exhibit has Irish memorabilia straight from the Emerald Isle!

Storrowton Village Shops - The Storrowton Village Gift Shop offers an extensive line of fine gifts and collectibles for any occasion. Silverado beads and Fenton Art Glass are just some of the “finds” in this picturesque shop. The Christmas Shop, located in Potter Mansion, boasts a wide variety of holiday ornaments.

 

Yankee Candle Shop - On the lower level of the Grange building, fairgoers will find a complete line of Yankee Candle products including jar toppers, tart burners, new reed diffusers, potpourri and more.  Find your personal favorites as well as new scents!
