Here is your chance to make your famous cupcake recipe and make money too.

Best of Show will receive $50.00 awarded by Domino Sugar
Merit awards will receive Domino Sugar coupons.
Eastern States Exposition will award ribbons as determined by the judge(s)

Judging Criteria for frosting: Consistency – 50%; Flavor – 50%
Judging Criteria for cupcake: Aroma & Flavor – 40%; Texture – 50%; Appearance – 10%

■ Contestants of any age are welcome to

participate with a limit of one entry per person.

■ You may use any flavor or type of frosting
■ You may use cream cheese, sour cream whipping cream, etc in your cupcake and frosting
■ You are to submit four (4) cupcakes on a paper plate
■ Include the cupcake recipe and the frosting recipe. Cite recipe source or indicate original recipe.
■ Entries must be made with Domino Sugar (cupcake and frosting) – proof of purchase is required: a UPC from package or cash register receipt should be stapled to the back of your recipe.

All winners must sign a Domino Sugar recipe release form. All recipes become the property of Domino Sugar and Eastern States Exposition and may be edited, adapted, copyrighted, published and used for publicity, promotion and/or advertising at their discretion without compensation to the contestant.

Entries are to be brought to the New England Center between 8am and 9am on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Enter through Door 2 of the New England Center. Once judging commences no entries will be allowed. Judging is closed to the public. The number of entries will determine how long the judging may take. Only one entry per participant. There is a $5/entry fee. Cupcakes are to remain on display until 8pm. Only the judges will be allowed to sample cupcakes. Exhibits become the property of Eastern States Exposition.

Entrants may be disqualified at the discretion of judges

and Eastern States Exposition Management.
