What’s a fair without some friendly competition?  The Big E has contests of all kinds, so everyone can get involved! Are you a lawyer who has a secret passion for baking cupcakes? A farmer who has spent the whole year growing a giant pumpkin? Or 4-Her who has raised a steer from birth? Maybe you love to paint, draw, or do needlework.  Whether you are a participant or a spectator, The Big E has something for everyone. 

 

The Big E presents contests in the categories of Production Livestock, Native Produce, Creative Arts and Cooking, as well as competitive events for 4-H and FFA youth.
