The most famous bagpipe band on the planet is coming to The Big E...The Red Hot Chilli Pipers! The show is free with admission to The Big E.
Since the band dominated the British talent show, "When Will I Be Famous?" in 2007, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers haven't stopped. They became a global phenomenon with their infectious style of feel-good music that appeals to all ages.
The Chillis are a nine piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboardists and drummers who have played and sold out shows from New York to Beijing and everywhere in between.
Their trademark sound is a unique fusion of traditional pipe tunes, such as, "The Flowers of Scotland," "The Hills of Argyll" and "Amazing Grace," with contemporary anthems and fantastic Rock medleys like Queen's "We Will Rock You," "Clocks," by Coldplay, "Chasing Cars," by Snow Patrol, "Wake Me Up," by Avicii, Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water," AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," and many more.
The band is comprised of some of the very best musicians from Scotland and around the world. They are two-time winners of "Scottish Live Act of the Year." Their most recent album, Octane, was released in October 2016.
