A Vintner's Harvest

There's no better place to enjoy the sights, sounds and taste tempting aromas of the fall season than at The Big E, New England's Autumn Tradition and the largest fair in the northeast.

Vintner's Harvest a Success
The ESE Foundation held its fourth fundraising event, A Vintner’s Harvest, in the Storrowton Carriage House. The wine tasting featured winning entries from the 2009 Big E Northeast Gold Wine and Gold Medal Cheese Competitions as well as a variety of delectable foods. Eighty tickets, a record number, were sold for the event.
A silent auction rounded out the event, which featured items from all over New England, including a gift basket from each state. There was also the chance to be a judge for the 2010 wine contest, which sold for $100. Other auction items included several bottles of winning and assorted wines, a Cabot Cheese basket, a golf package for four to Lyman Orchards, a gift certificate to Storrowton Tavern, Alpaca Socks and a Vermont Wool Blanket.
