Eastern States Exposition is a flexible, multi-purpose facility that is capable of meeting a variety of needs. Our buildings range in size from 28,000 sq. ft. to 129,400 sq. ft. and can be used in combination for a total of more than 355,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space.
The park-like setting of ESE provides a beautiful backdrop to our annual events, Storrowton Village Museum – a reconstructed 19th century village, Storrowton Tavern – serving the finest New England fare and The Big E, our annual exposition attracting more than 1 million visitors to our grounds each September.
A sampling of the more than 100 annual consumer and trade shows illustrates our flexibility and includes:
- The Original Western Mass. Home Show – held in our Better Living Center, Young Building and Stroh Building as well as outdoor areas.
- The Melha Shrine Circus – held in our 5,000 seat Coliseum.
- EASTEC – the largest machine tool trade show in the Northeast combines our Better Living Center, Mallary Complex, Young Building, Stroh Building and outdoor space for its event.
- Equine Affaire – the nation’s foremost national equine exposition and equestrian gathering uses all available rental space on our grounds for its trade show including 800 horse stalls.
