Eastern States Exposition enriched the lives of young people since the first exposition back in 1917. While I am a relative newcomer (active since 1992!), I am amazed at the stories about generations of New Englanders who love The Big E and treasure its impact on their lives.
Today, our New England landscape is changing. The Big E programs for youth and agriculture are even more important to new generations of young people. But, we don’t have all the resources we need to enhance and create programs that promote youth education, agriculture education, history and leadership. So a bunch of us who hold the Exposition close to our hearts have started a campain to preserve these programs. To date our fund raising efforts concentrated on our close family. We are pleased that 60% of our current regular trustees have made donations as part of our first solicitation.
Now, we broaden the circle and ask for your help. Your support ensures we can expand and create new youth and agriculture opportunities that will be important in creating our next generation of leaders! Please take a few minutes to read about our Mission and how your contribution will aid in expanding and creating new programs for our young people.
I thank you for your generous support of the Foundation and Eastern States Exposition.
