COMCAST ARENA STAGE
Located in The Big E's Outdoor Arena this is the site for the Fair's major concerts! With seating for over 6,000, this venue provides a large open-air location for performances by top-name talent on weekends during the Fair.
 The Big E will do its best to notify guests in a timely manner when show cancellations and performance time changes occur.

 All shows, except Sugarland, are free.
Seating at free shows is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

CHARICE   Friday, Sept. 18 - 8pm

Charice has amazed audiences around the world with her larger than life voice and vibrant personality beginning on Little Big Star, a show loosely patterned after American Idol, which premiered on Filipino television in 2005. Since then, she has astonished viewers of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Oprah and Good Morning America and has sung with renowned stars Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. FOGHAT   Saturday, Sept. 19 - 8pm

British rock band, Foghat, shook up the blues-rock scene in the 70s with their dominating electric and electric slide guitar. Out of their five gold albums came hits "Fool For The City," "I Just Wanna Make Love To You" and "Slow Ride," which is featured on today's ever popular Guitar Hero 3. While band mates have changed throughout the years, today, Charlie Huhn, Bryan Bassett, Craig MacGregor and Roger Earl rock crowds all over the nation with their Classic hits.   www.foghat.com

BOYZ II MEN   Sunday, Sept. 20 - 7pm

 Boyz II Men is the most successful R&B male vocal group of all time, based on sales. They are the only group other than the Beatles to have replaced themselves at the top billboard position. The combination of their reserved dignified character, unique vocals, and skilled dance choreography have spawned several other "wanna be" bands trying to mimic them, yet no one is able to totally reproduce their unique sound. LANE TURNER, presented by       Friday, Sept. 25 - 8pm

 
From honky-tonk tunes to emotional ballads, this rising Country star has developed a strong fan-base in the U.S. and Canada. Turner's popularity -- he was runner-up in 2008 on "The Next GAC Star" -- has been strengthened by the release of three singles -- "Always Wanting More (Breathless)" in 2004, "Let You Go" in 2006 and "Little Book of Matches"  in 2008 from his debut album, King of Pain. Born and raised in West Texas, Lane Turner finds inspiration in the storytelling and simplicity of life found in classic songs by legends like Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson...and the Rock 'n Roll of Elvis.

LITTLE BIG TOWN   Saturday, Sept. 26 - 8pm

 Selling over a million copies of their first album The Road to Here, Little Big Town has seen chart topping days with the smash hits, "Boondocks," "Bring It On Home," "Good As Gone" and "A Little More You." Their newest compilation of songs comes in the form of A Place To Land, produced by Capitol Records Nashville. 2009 ACM Song of the Year winner, Jamey Johnson, comes to The Big E in a free show. After years of songwriting and producing for other Country stars, Johnson has begun to sing, record and perform his own. His first album is titled That Lonesome Song where fans will hear a compilation of original songs that boast a unique sound and crafty lyrics. SEETHER   Sunday, Oct. 4 - 7pm

 
Hard Rock frontrunners, Seether, originated in Johannesburg, South Africa. They started in modest origins, playing at coffee shops at the University of Cape Town and the University of StellonBosch. While Johannesburg may not be a hotbed of the Rock and Roll scene, Seether has nonetheless managed to make a distinctive name for themselves. They have managed to carve out a unique sound amid constant touring with other bands, a feat which is truly special and difficult.
